Ohlins TTX25 FSAE Services

Descriptions & Pricing

There are two evolutions of the TTX25 FSAE damper, pre 2014 and post 2014. At this point pre 2014 dampers are no longer supported by Ohlins for full rebuilding and/or repair. 3DM Suspension has collected parts and cross referenced as much as we can to support continuing rebuilding pre 2014 dampers so it is highly likely we can get your damper repaired and back into service.

How do I tell which evolution I have? The quickest way to identify them is by the low speed bleed adjusters.  The pre 2014 shocks have flat head style low speed adjusters while the post 2014 shocks have hex head style low speed adjusters. However, this is not 100% reliable since there is the possibility newer adjusters may be installed into older shocks.  The only way to positively identify which damper evolution you have is to disassemble it and look at the seal head to inner tube mating interface.

Rebuild Service

Our rebuild service starts out with a tear down and cleaning followed by an inspection of all parts to determine if there are any issues. Items such as pistons, piston rods, and main tubes showing wear beyond tolerance may require replacement.  Once we deem everything to be in proper condition, we then proceed with the rebuild and a test run on the dyno.

Items such as eyelet bearings, spring perches and other "external" items are not included in standard rebuild prices. They are billed separately on a case by case basis depending on what is needed. Please note that a rebuild is not the same as a revalve, please see our Revalve Service below for more details.

Rebuild Pricing

Revalve Service

Revalving an Öhlins TTX25 shock means replacing the low speed bleed adjuster and/or replacing the high speed poppet valve springs.
